One of the biggest challenges I see as a strategist for the wedding industry is that of scalability. How does one grow a business that is built on their personal creativity and artistry? It’s tricky – and I’ve seen few people achieve it. BUT – it is DOABLE.
Kristy Rice, owner of Momental Designs, is someone who has achieved this and does it well. Kristy is known for her hand-painted stationery and has been able to extend that into other products that have helped her grow the company and brand beyond the typical party-of-one solopreneurship.
Kristy has shared with me some of the growing pains of what its been like to grow to a team of 12. How do you teach people how to replicate your artistry? How do you give them the freedom to be artists, while still protecting your signature style?
All of these challenges and questions are why I’ve asked Kristy to speak at Be Sage Conference this year. Kristy will be sharing steps that she’s taken to scale her creative business. I’m excited to learn from her – and hope you’ll join me.
