What an incredible 3 days we spent together at Be Sage Conference this year!  Over the next couple weeks, we’ll be sharing images and reviewing what the magic of Be Sage was all about! (If you are interested in our next Be Sage Conference, make sure to sign up for more information and SPECIAL pricing at www.besageconference.com.)

First up… our Welcome Party we held at The Iron Cactus in Dallas!  WOW.  What an incredible time we had there reconnecting with past attendees and meeting new ones!  Michelle and I joked that it was like our wedding reception – we nearly had a receiving line. Ha!  But seriously, it was such a special time to connect with our guests and welcome them to The Big D!

One of our core values is approachability. We sincerely want people to know that although we can be super serious and talk a lot of business, we’re also fun-loving and totally value relationship-building with people in the wedding and event industries.  We wanted this Welcome Party to be just that: a time for us all to mingle, get excited about the next couple of days of education, and enjoy some yummy queso and margaritas, of course!

Special thanks to the incredibly talented Meggie Taylor for these incredible images in this post!

All of the floral decor and design you see at The Welcome Party was created by the uber fabulous Debby Jewesson of Branching Out Events!  We 100% trusted her to bring our vision to life – taking the “BIG” Texas sized theme we went with for the conference, she incorporated cactus, antlers, maracas…we LOVED how it all turned out!  Check it out…

Special thanks to Discovery Lighting for the incredible gobo of our logo and lighting for our event!  DJ Jason Esquire played some jams that set the perfect tone for the night!

We greeted guests with delicious margaritas, enjoyed queso, tacos and a super FUN tequila tasting to end the night! Party Tables provided these lovely linens, Stamped Paper Company created the amazing event signage/branding, Meaghan with Sweet Pea Events coordinated all of the logistics, Suite 206 provided the amazing furniture, Splendor Films, Cinematt, and Isabel Cinematheque filmed the evening for us!

And now…for the TEQUILA TASTING!  So so much fun!

To send our guests off with some sweets for their hotel rooms and car rides home, Tiff’s Treats graciously gave all attendees delicious, warm cookies!
