Sage Declaration No. 23 ::: Ask for Help
As business owners we are so accustomed to doing everything on our own that we often don’t enable the help of others. And, we are generally good at lots of things. Remember…
….. You are not alone.
….. No one is good at everything.
….. Identify your weaknesses and ask others for help.
….. Use your colleagues as a resource for information.
….. Search the web for tools and resources.
….. Hire and contract people to build your business where you cannot.
….. Hire experts in key areas that support your business: legal, tax, accounting, finance, branding.
No successful business is built by one person single-handedly. The best entrepreneurs know when to enlist the help of others and ask for help in achieving their goals and plans.

Good afternoon Michelle,
I love your articles and I am a fan of your newsletter!! Reading here I was trying to figure out where I can find a mentor in my industry, now that I am building my business plan and aiming to launch next year. I have a background in catering, hospitality, wedding & events industry and am currently starting a partnership to register my business in order to offer honeymoon and destination wedding packages.
I am new to the tourism industry and I am not sure if I should be approaching my competitors to find out how they started & learn from their mistakes.
Do I live in a fantasy world or is this really possible?
Thank you so much!!
Alessia
